Find out more about me …
Josta Bernstädt
Clinical psychologist with additional training in Gestalt therapy,
body and energy work and meditation.
Personal
I am married and have two grown-up children from whom I can still learn a lot.
I lived in Scotland for 17 years and also work in English. This time has significantly shaped my – sometimes black – sense of humour.
I like to cook – as long as it’s not too often. I always change recipes.
I love the sea with its constant movement, change, calm and endless expanse, as well as its varied play of light and colour. Here I come to rest and enjoy the feeling of purposelessness and timelessness, as an important prerequisite for creativity.
Qualifications
Additional training in Gestalt psychotherapy in Scotland with GTS (Gestalt Training Service Scotland), Gestalt therapist (DVG), non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy (HPG), licensed to practise as a psychological psychotherapist, European Certificate for Psychotherapy (ECP).
Training in psychosomatic relaxation techniques, supervision training with Metanoia, Training Institute in
Counselling and Psychotherapy, London.
Training in Integrative Body Psychotherapy at the Lomi School California.
Methods
As a Gestalt therapist, I include all aspects of our existence in my work, the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.
I offer a compassionate and committed relationship which offers support for the process of change and allows for corresponding creative ideas.
Goals
- Cultivating a kind, sensitive way of dealing with yourself and others.
- Learning to master difficult situations imaginatively, playfully and with humour.
- Shaping a life in which you feel included.
